You may download any of these files completely free-of-charge and
distribute them via the internet, or any other medium, as long as the
original files are not changed in any way, and the documentation
remains intact. If you distribute any of these files, you may not
charge for them, except for reasonably incurred nominal distribution
charges.
Some of the software contained here is "Shareware", which means that
if it is used on a regular basis or for a period of greater than
approximately 30 days, you should pay to register it. Otherwise, you
should remove the software from your computer.
Registration is not expensive, but it
does ensure that you are legally entitled to use the software, that you
can get free email technical support , and
that you can access the features not available in the unregistered
versions. Moreover, you are supporting the development of future

Celebrating 7 years of G-tune...
G-tune,
our musical instrument tuning software,
is now 7 years old. Marking this occasion, Version 2.50 has now been
released. This is a free update for all registered users.
G-tune comes with complete Install and Uninstall support to make it
really easy to setup and to remove! To register G-tune, an unlocking
code is required (this code will allow you to freely upgrade to all
future versions of G-tune). G-tune is universally regarded as the
best PC-based instrument tuner available; ask anyone who has done a
comparative review.
G-tune uses JHC SoftWare's "WebPackit" installation technology to
greatly reduce the file size when compared to other installation
programs.
To install G-tune just run the G-tune_x.exe file, and follow the
instructions.

Older versions for slower computers...
For users of older, slower computers, (e.g., < 300MHz processors)
we have also made available an older version of G-tune, 2.02. This is a
stable and accurate version but without some of the enhancements found
in the most recent version.

Registered User?
If you are a registered user of G-tune you can download the latest
versions which are not freely available for download. Contact 
with your
registration details for information on how to obtain the latest
versions. See the main G-tune page for what's
included in the latest version.
G-tune is supplied as a shareware (try-before-you-buy)
product
and registration is $35 (US dollars) if purchased on-line, or £20
(UK
pounds sterling) if purchased by traditional mail. Site licenses are
available
for £50. These prices are for unlocking codes only. Program disks
can
be supplied at a slightly higher cost.
Snooker147 and Poolster are now sold as one product; so better value
and more fun. Snooker147&Poolster comes with complete Install and
Uninstall support to make it really easy to setup and to remove! The
download contains only the Shareware version. The full version can be
downloaded after on-line registration.
To install Snooker147 and Poolster just run the Snook13s.exe file,
and follow the instructions.

Span 1.0
Span is a freeware, simple-to-use and reliable disk-spanning program.
Span will take a large file (e.g., a .ZIP archive) and split it accross
multiple floppies. This is DOS-based and was written many years ago
when such programs were not widely available. Span is FREE to use and
distribute. (Note that on newer OSs such as Windows98, Span may not
run; however, it is ideally suited for older machines.)
To install span, run the downloaded program in DOS. This will
extract 2
files: 'span.exe' and 'span.txt', the utility and the instructions
respectively.

Memory Tutor 1.2
This simple DOS-based memory tutor program that was developed several
years ago (originally on the Commodore 64) to help teach myself foreign
languages. Memory Tutor asks you repeated questions and tests you for
the required answers. You input the questions and the answers and
configure
the program for your particular application. I have used this very
successfully to learn Latin, Italian and even to remember complex maths
formulas for
exams. This is a must-have program! Memory Tutor is FREE to use and
distribute.
To install Memory Tutor, run the downloaded program in DOS. This
will extract
2 files: 'tutor.exe' and 'tutor.txt', the utility and the instructions.
